Feature Talk
Event Code: E251011
Details
Objective
This talk will present three real-world smart city applications in Hong Kong, which use geospatial datasets as key inputs of different models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), micro-simulation models and system optimization models. Specifically, this talk is composed of three sessions which will be given by Dr Tony Zhuge, together with three PhD researchers, Zhongyu LAI, Zili TIAN, and Ying ZHANG:
-
We are developing GeoDataGPT, an intelligent framework powered by Large Language Models, to lower the technical barriers of using CSDI by enabling users to perform complex data analysis through simple conversational commands;
-
We integrated multi-source spatial data (e.g., administrative boundaries, 3D building data, land-use zoning, and rooftop solar potential) with PV survey data to build SelfSim-HK, a digital twin of Hong Kong for agent-based simulation assessing PV diffusion under the Feed-in Tariff policy;
-
We used different open datasets (e.g., bus network, bus arrival time data) to develop data-driven micro-simulation approaches to exploring optimal solutions to electrifying the bus system in Hong Kong.
